Carnival Selection Evening

So, to kick of the Carnival for yet hopefully another successful year of raising money for wonderful causes is the Carnival Selection Evening. This is your chance to become the main attention in the carnival parade and events. The chance to be the ambassadors of our great cause!

Each year, we select our Carnival Court and put them up to the task of starring our various Carnival events and helping to raise money across the town. Our court consists of the following:

Carnival Queen
Senior Princess
Carnival Princess
Carnival Prince

Each of these roles always attracts great attention and many applicants each year. Perhaps you think you would be suitable in one of these roles, well why not, the process is very simple, an application form needs to be filled out and sent to:

Carnival Court Selection Application Form

Application forms must be received by no later than Friday 27th April. The selection process takes place on Sunday 29th April . All candidates must be booked in by 2.30pm and so in order to facilitate this, we start booking in applicants at 2.00pm and so we would recommend arriving then in order to avoid disappointment. Anyone after 2.30pm is likely to be refused a chance to become part of our Court Selection Process.

Candidates will be asked some simple questions whilst being presented to our Judging Panel. The process is very simple, and so if you are stage fright, then please do not be afraid, we welcome you to take part and hope to see you.

As with all roles, we like to reward our Carnival Court which is successful in their application. Below is what our court shall be presented with for succeeding:

On the evening Bar Facilities shall be available as well as a Disco being held on the night too. There shall also be a carnival Raffle held too. We hope to see you on the day, even if you are not applying, come and watch, cheer on the candidates and be one of the first to find out who the new court is for 2012/13.

Note: Please remember to make sure applications are received by no later than Friday 27th April, as well as making sure all applicants are signed in by 2:30PM, by which the selection process shall begin.
